In an effort to reduce harm and to protect our community, Annoor Islamic Center has been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and after careful considerations, we fee it is our responsibility to make the following announcement.

- Annoor Islamic Center would like to clarify that all community members are islamically exempt from attending Friday “Jumuah” or any congregation prayers in any of the following situations:
- You have fever OR Cough OR Sneezing OR Joint pain OR Any other Flu like symptoms
- Your are over 60 years old and have an ongoing medical issue such as Heart Disease, Diabetes or Lung Disease
- You have a medical condition tat causes your immune system to be weakened
- Annoor Islamic Center would like to clarify that all community members are islamically exempt from attending Friday “Jumuah” or any congregation prayers in any of the following situations:
If any of the above situations are applicable to you, you have an islamic duty to avoid being in any congregational gatherings to protect yourself and others from any potential harm. May Alah (swt) protect us all.
Annoor Islamic Center is pleased to announce that during Ramadan, Only Fajr prayer will be held at the masjid. It will be held at 5:30 AM with the following limitation. The maximum number of people that will be allowed in the building to perform congregate prayer is 10 people including the Imam. This is to be in compliance with the State congregation limitation due to the situation with COVID-19. Once there are 10 people inside the masjid, the door will be closed until the prayer is finished. Those that are praying will completely follow the social distancing guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”). That is to maintain (6) feet of spacing between individuals at all times. Those who prayed would need to immediately leave the building to allow for any others that are waiting outside to enter the masjid and pray as well. If there are more than 10 people waiting outside, only 10 will enter to perform the prayer and the same process will be repeated until everyone has prayed. May Allah protect us all.
